For some time I have been informing you about the newest MOOCs (Massive Open Online Courses) related to food.
Since the courses are re-opened quite often, I think I got to the point when I would be only repeating myself. Therefore I will cease to publish these posts, unless there is a really new or interesting course I haven’t mentioned yet.
You can subscribe to a newsletter with new courses here yourself.
These are the new free online food-related courses beginning this week. Check them out:
“This course examines contemporary child nutrition and the impact of the individual decisions made by each family. … Participants will learn what constitutes a healthy diet for children and adults and how to prepare simple, delicious foods aimed at inspiring a lifelong celebration of easy home-cooked meals.”
Time needed: 5 hours in 5 weeks
“In this course, learners will be given the information and practical skills they need to begin optimizing the way they eat. … By the end of this course, learners should have the tools they need to distinguish between foods that will support their health and those that threaten it.”
Time needed: 5 hours in 5 weeks (self-paced)
