In my previous post, I gave you an overview of advent calendars with tea, sweets and alcoholic drinks.
In this post, I will show you some foodie advent calendars that were new to me this year.
Here is an overview of chocolate advent calendars by Independent.
If you need something stronger than chocolate to take you through advent, there are wine, gin or old and rare whiskey advent calendars. The Williams Chase distillery makes a calendar with all sorts of spirits – there are some really interesting flavours like Smoked Vodka or Pink Grapefruit Gin.
As for tea, there are plenty of original tea advent calendars to be found on Etsy.
If you are a person with more salty than sweet tooth, try this pork scratchings calendar by The Snaffling Pig Co. Who would have thought that something like this exists! It is currently sold out, but try to check again later on.
On a more traditional note – there is a circus-themed calendar made from beautiful iced biscuits. If it tastes as good as it looks, it must be amazing.
Also, there is this cute advent house filled with chocolate pralines with flavours like World Famous Sticky Toffee, Honeycomb Crunch, Milk Chocolate Truffle and a Zest Chocolate Orange.
If you are a fan of jelly beans, there’s something for you as well!
I also found a quirky advent calendar called Eat your greens. Do not worry, it only looks like vegetables! Trick Santa (or Ježíšek, in the Czech Republic) and make him believe you do deserve your presents.
So – which one would you pick? I would probably go for the wine one.
