Sleeping bumble bee and flowers – spring in macro

So it seems the weather is getting better and warmer… I guess its high time since we are two months into spring, innit?

Recently I have been taking my camera and macro lens out for a walk more often to capture the new flowers and insect flying around them. I selected the “best of” and here they are.

This is a calendula bud with a dandelion seed stuck to it:

This lavender grows in our neighbours garden. I managed to get blurred background in pretty pastel colours:

My favourite photo is however this one, of a sleeping bumble bee hung on a leaf. I have never seen a sleeping bumble bee, I guess this was a lucky catch:
